I am working this from what I have heard, so I can not personally attest to this problem or fix.

The problem is a squealing noise that comes from the engine area. It seems that the bearing on the tensioner pulley have a common problem of degrading. A new pulley can be purchased from Ford or Lincoln. Third party companies also carry just the bearing that can be replaced rather than the entire unit. This is cheaper but may require more work.
